GREEN BEANS - LEMON SCENTED

Fresh, Vibrant, and Slightly Crunchy. 

This green bean recipe couldn’t be easier, and it is a flavorful accompaniment to any dish.

        -       1 lb. Green Beans or Haricots Verts, washed, drained and left whole

-       1 lemon, zest and juice

-       Cilantro, ¼ cup freshly chopped

-       Olive oil, 2 tablespoons

-       Salt and pepper to taste

Oil and lemon juice in a skillet. Heat until bubbles just start to form. Lay green beans in skillet, put lid on, and occasionally shake pan, holding lid in place. Just as soon as the color begins to change, turn off stove. They should have more vibrant color yet still be slightly crunchy. Salt, pepper, and toss lightly with cilantro and lemon zest.

Your lovely, colorful, vegetable side dish is ready to serve!
